Surprise Proposals throughout Chicago

So, as promised in my last blog, here are some photos from a few surprise proposals I’ve had the pleasure of photographing all throughout Chicago.  The majority of couples use the most iconic Chicago backdrops as the location for this wonderful event.  Everything from the rink at the Peninsula and the rink at Wrigley Field, to the Cloud Gate, all these make for a wonderful site.  I can’t wait to see what locations I’ll be shooting in this year.  More photos to come.

Winter engagement photos in Chicago

As mentioned in my earlier blog, I love doing winter engagement and wedding photography.  And here are some more examples of this.  Not only do the couples get a very different background of Chicago, but also a great mysterious look that winter brings.  What I love the most is putting the ring in LOVE in snow rather than sand, which almost everyone does. In my next blog I’ll put just surprise proposals that I was more than happy to capture during lots of snow and cold.

Winter wedding and engagement photos in Chicago

With the winter in full bloom, I’ve decided to add some photos that I especially like.  Although, cold as cold can be sometimes, these wonderful couples had no problem getting comfortable in this weather.  I love taking photos in the snow, as this makes for incredible backgrounds.  Whether it’s day or night-time photos, Chicago has something to offer to everyone, winter or summer.  More winter photography to come in the next blog.   Chicago Wedding Photographer | Wedding Photography Chicago | Chicago Engagements Photographer Chicago Wedding Photographer | Chicago Engagements Photographer

Lately most proposals are done with a photographer present to make sure that the wonderful moment is captured for a never-ending memory.  I am lucky enough to be one of those photographers that is there when a couple is starting their journey together. Chicago has possibly, some of the most beautiful backdrops, and the ideas can be endless.  As you can see some of the best locations are Lincoln Park South Pond, downtown and Navy Pier.  But, no matter where the proposal gets done, it’s for sure to be a great and wonderful memory for days and years to come.

Winter, night-time engagement photo session.

This couple is by far ready, to go to any extent for the photos they know they want.  Not only it was freezing cold, but as you know Chicago’s wind chill makes you want to go anywhere but outside.  With all these obstacles, we worked through the cold and chili air, and managed to have fun, nigh-time, winter photos, and everything they wanted, including hitting most Chicago themed locations.  Simone is amazing in being able to stand any whether and is very patient.  They are both great and I’m sure they’ll be truly happy in their future.

Night-time engagement photography in Chicago

When I first spoke to Brittani about photographing their engagement, she wasn’t sure as to the locations she wanted, but it had to be night-time engagement photography in Chicago. So, we hit the most known spots and some not so known, but thanks to this wonderful couple, Brittani and Vito, I learned of a new spot for night-time photography, and it happens to be one of my favorites. Only in Chicago, one can find new locations all the time. I will for sure use it in my next ventures.

“Sailor Kissing Nurse” inspired engagement photos by Adler Planetarium, Chicago

Immediately after meeting Antonio and Salma, I knew that the theme of our engagement photos would be inspired by the timeless and classic “Sailor kissing nurse” photo.  We picked the Adler Planetarium as our location because they are out-of-towners and we wanted to capture the city skyline as well as other locations such as the beach, lake and park.  The cloudy weather was absolutely perfect as it acted as a large diffuser in an otherwise very hot and sunny day.  I wish this wonderful couple only the best in their marriage.

Want To Better Plan Your Wedding? Read This

Everyone is looking for something to help simplify their life. That is certainly the case for a wedding, which can be complex and large. The thought of planning a wedding is intimidating enough. But with the help from this article, you can plan a wedding that is enjoyable and relatively stress free.

Practice walking down the aisle as much as you can right before the wedding. Go to your wedding location to practice while wearing your wedding shoes. Doing so helps to ensure a smooth and confident walk when your wedding day comes.

TIP! Ask anyone who is giving a toast to share his speech with you ahead of time to ensure that the comments are appropriate. Some material, especially jokes, may fall flat or offend some of your guests, so you want to correct these problems ahead of time.

If you’re wanting to have money for other things concerning your wedding, try keeping a tighter budget on the venue by picking a wedding date that’s not necessarily in season. Most weddings are between June and August. Wedding venues can be pricier at this time. Your best bet is to book your venue as soon as possible to secure the best possible price.

Coordinate small touches into all the aspects of the wedding decor. Take the ribbon you use in a bouquet for instance, and use the same ribbon for table centerpieces, your hair or your gown. These little details will add up to create one giant aesthetic.

Employ a good friend or relative, as long as they can haul your equipment and gear through the evening. They can also be of assistance in rounding everyone up for the group photographs, and this will make sure no one is left out.

TIP! Strive to incorporate personal elements in your wedding, things that accurately reflect you and your future spouse. Find a theme or topic that reflects your time as a couple.

If you are on a budget, consider scheduling your reception for around lunchtime. During the day, you will see that people are less likely to drink, which can noticeably reduce your costs. It will also be cheaper if you have a lunch time reception and you can have better food or use the money saved to invest in your honeymoon!

You might think there is no way to plan a wedding simply; however, with good advice you can do just that. The above article has great wedding information. Hopefully, the information in this article will help you plan the wedding of your dreams.

Your Happily Every After Begins With These Wedding Tips

A wedding day is a very big event for both the happy couple and their respective family members. People think it costs a lot of money in order to have a beautiful wedding; however, it does not have to cost a fortune. You don’t have to go into great debt to have a lovely wedding. In this article, you will find lots of money-saving tricks and creative ideas to plan an unforgettable wedding.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is not practicing the big walk enough. It takes more than two run throughs on rehearsal night to overcome the fact that items could be in the way. Make it second nature by doing several practice walks down the aisle. Do it at the venue in which you are getting married, and wear the footwear you’re going to wear on the big day. That way, you will know precisely how you should move.

TIP! Try for a date that is not in the middle of wedding season. Traditional wedding season is from May to September.

If you want to save money on your wedding, consider having it in the off-season., The wedding season runs from May until September. This will be the time where the costs are the highest. If you plan on getting married during these months, plan as early as you can for the lowest cost.

The single most important factor when you are getting married is also the most obvious, your choice in bride or groom. This choice will affect you forever, so take your time and don’t rush. Give this person’s habits and peccadilloes a great deal of consideration.

Don’t forget about transportation! You definitely want to have transportation for yourself, as well as others in the area, that need to be able to get back and forth. This is also good for the people who have alcoholic drinks during your wedding.

TIP! If you want a much better wedding day look but on a budget that is tight, consider renting diamonds. You will be able to choose between many different kinds of jewelery while sticking to your budget.

As you can see, you do not have to spend a fortune to have the perfect wedding. Incorporating these tips into your planning will help you achieve the wedding of your dreams.
